When N4 extracts the billable events for an appointment or a truck visit appointment, it adds the records to the Chargeable Appointment Events view (on page 1) and assigns a batch number to the extracted events. This ensures that N4 does not extract these events the next time you select the same appointment or truck visit appointment.

However, sometimes you may need to update various attributes of an appointment or a truck visit appointment that affect billing after you have extracted some events for an appointment or a truck visit appointment. N4 does not automatically replicate these updates to the events previously extracted.

If the extracted events are still in the QUEUED status, you can cancel these extracted events and re-extract the events with the updated attributes. This ensures that the updates are reflected in the extracted events and you do not have to make the updates in two places.

To cancel the events listed in the Chargeable Appointment Events view, use the Cancel Event option.

To cancel selected event(s):

  1. In the list view, select the event(s) that you want to cancel.

You can cancel an event only if the event status is QUEUED.

  1. Select the Actions Cancel Event option.

N4 prompts you for confirmation.

  1. If you click Yes, N4 sets the status of the selected events as CANCELLED.
